Adventures

Here we record the adventures that we take as a family, near and far.

So I'm back from my appointment. The neurologist has elevated my situation to urgent, and I will be admitted to the hospital in two weeks for several days so that they can do an extended EEG. He reaffirmed that I definitely have Epilepsy, and he is reviewing MRIs and trying to determine what type of Epilepsy I have.

I had a seizure during his exam. The hospitalization and EEG was expected to take several months to get me worked in, but He pulled some strings and told the scheduler that it was urgent, and so they got me in in two weeks! Praise God!

A funny thing happened the other night. I sat down in my recliner around 9pm and fell asleep. I woke up at 1am, standing in the kitchen, stirring a pot of spaghetti sauce. I had made spaghetti and meatballs from scratch in my sleep! So I woke Krysta up and we ate a midnight dinner, after which I promptly had a seizure. I was in so much pain from standing for so long!

The worst part about it is that it was the best sauce I have ever tasted, and I have no idea what I put in it!
