Bible Verses

~ The Story Behind Sending Out Daily Bible Verses ~

When I was a teenager, a friend of mine had a photography studio, and I spent many hours there with her working on various projects. She had a bunch of scenic pictures, and I always thought that it would be fun to put Bible verses on them and frame them or make cards or something. We never got around to it, though.

As a young mother, I struggled to get into the Bible every day. Life was busy with the kids, and I was working a job as well. A pastor's wife began sending me a Bible verse every day. It was such a help to me as I thought on that verse throughout the day. I would often memorize it or go read the rest of the chapter when I had a chance. It was a great encouragement.

My family and I love to take pictures of sunsets and other scenic pictures, but it bugged me that we never did anything with them. Soooo..... This is what has come out of all of that. I am thankful that God allows me to be an encouragement to others as I send his Word out.
