Complaining

At Winco, getting some groceries, a lady began complaining about the price of butter. She said, "Can you believe the price of butter! Can you believe what 'they' are doing, while claiming...." the implication being that the current administration was driving up prices.

I said, "Ma'am, I don't know what you are talking about. It's been years since I've seen butter under $3 per pound, but here it is for $2.98."

"What!?" She said, and she looked at me, and looked at the price. Then she looked at me, then back at the price. Then she said, "Wow! I've never seen it that low. I need to do some baking," and took 8 more pounds.

The same thing happened at the ground beef - a couple standing there complaining about how high the prices were climbing and climbing, yet it's the lowest I've seen it since I've been in California.

I'm shopping, and praising the Lord for great prices! But, if you'd rather complain about imaginary high prices and blame Trump instead, I guess that is your prerogative!
